It's my pleasure to announce that Rev. Rob and Karen Petkau have decided to buy a home of their own, and will be leaving the Rectory at the end of June. This is a wise move for them financially, and I'm confident their new home in Scenic Acres will serve them well, for many years to come.

"We're very grateful to St. Peter's for providing us with such a soft landing when we returned to Calgary after I finished Seminary, and we've loved living in the Rectory these past 18 months," says Rev. Rob. "But we're not getting any younger, and owning our own home is an important investment for our future. Thankfully, our new place is a short, easy drive from St. Peter's – but I'm definitely going to miss going home for lunch every day!"

The wardens and I have started working on finding new tenants to live in the Rectory, and we will keep you posted as things take shape. In the meantime, please join us in congratulating Rob and Karen on their new home.
