The Rev. Rob Petkau

Rev. Rob grew up in Drumheller, and worked in the journalism-communications industry in Alberta for about 30 years. He served as music team leader at Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Calgary for more than a decade, during which time he discerned that God was calling him to full-time, ordained ministry. In 2023 he and Karen moved to Toronto so he could finish his seminary education at Wycliffe College. They returned to Calgary and joined the St. Peter's team in mid-2024, and he was ordained to the priesthood shortly after. Now he's having a wonderful time trying to keep up with, and contribute to, what God is up to in this vibrant parish! (Follow him on Instagram: @baldymcstrums)
