"And so, under the supervision of the priests, the Levites watched over the Tabernacle and the Temple and faithfully carried out their duties of service at the house of the Lord." - 1 Chronicles 23:32 (TLB)
The Chancel Guild is a small but dedicated team of parishioners that cares for our sanctuary and chapel, and prepares them for worship throughout the year. Chancel Guild members ensure that the rooms are decorated and adorned appropriately for each season and each service, quietly ensuring that the needs of our clergy and congregations are met, and we can worship freely and without distraction – in a wedding, a funeral, a baptism or a regular Sunday service. They also prepares and clean the traveling communion kits for the clergy’s home and hospital visits.
The Chancel Guild is always looking for new members. To learn more, contact one of our priests.
