The Rev. Bonnie Luft

A lifelong Calgarian, Rev. Bonnie and her husband Lawrence owned and operated a marketing and graphic arts business in the city for 25 years before she discerned a call to ordained ministry. Bonnie attended Ambrose Seminary and was ordained to the Anglican priesthood in 2006, and served in numerous parishes in the diocese before being named Incumbent at St. Peter's in Calgary in September 2023. Her beloved Lawrence passed away in October 2024, and she is grateful to the Parish – and especially to God – for supporting and blessing her in this journey, as she continues to serve and minister in St. Peter's. Rev. Bonnie enjoys art, music, and good company – and can occasionally be heard cheering a little too loudly for the Calgary Flames.
