It is with mixed feelings that we announce that our beloved Organist George Langley will not be returning to St. Peter's this fall. George – a Master Warrant Officer with the Army Reserves – has accepted a position with the Royal Military College in Kingston, Ontario and he starts in mid-September. We are very sad to see him go, but excited for him and this new opportunity.

George has been part of the St. Peter's family for more than five years, and his contributions to the life and mission of this parish go far beyond his exemplary skills on the organ and piano. His many talents were particularly helpful to the church during the COVID-19 pandemic, when he played a key role in livestreaming our services. We are grateful for what God has done in, through and for George, and we pray abundant blessings on him and his family as he enters this new chapter.

Thankfully, the St. Peter's music team is deep and strong, so thanks to Music Director Patricia Yuen Sparrow, organist/pianist Marg McCulloch, Youth Leader/Percussionist Liam Getty and Rev. Rob, we're in good hands. We'll bring in guest musicians now and then to help with the transition, so while we will miss George, rest assured our music program will not miss a beat (or a note)!
