It  was my pleasure to lead The Fellowship of the Believers Bible study at St. Peter's during the season of Lent. It was practically standing-room-only in the Fireside Room, as 13 people of various ages, genders and ethnicities participated in this series. We explored the first 12 chapters of the Acts of the Apostles, in hopes that we could pick up some insights and ideas on what it looks like to be the church in a society that's largely indifferent (or worse) to our message, and we weren't disappointed. Equally importantly, we became a little fellowship of believers in our own right, and moved closer together as a community.

Will there be a Part 2 of this series, exploring the work of Paul and his missions? Time will tell. In the meantime, thanks to all the members of our little fellowship, for being interested, engaged, curious and – most importantly – teachable.

Blessings,
Rev. Rob Petkau
