Updates
Warden's Update: Activities around the Church continue. The lawns have been aerated, fertilized and mowed. The gardens are neat and blooming. The new Flag flies high. Even the panels on the front doors have been re-installed with Thanks to Reverend Jagdutt. The Church is going to be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized in the next week. All the motion lights and security cameras are in place, functioning and being monitored. All the contracts for Staff, Rentals and Waste and Recycling continue to be reviewed and revised.
There is a new face on the Executive Council (Warden). Garth Dymond has agreed to become the Rector's Warden. Thank you, Garth. Your skills and history with St. Peter's are appreciated. Lois Ellis remains the Assistant Rector's Warden, and Ann Bright is the People's Warden.
There has been an update on the Church reopening from the Diocesan Office. The 2 Priests and 3 Medical Doctors meet weekly to review the impacts of COVID – 19. The Executive Council of St. Peter's will be discussing the reopening of the Church regarding the communication received from the Diocese.

Cormack Hall: The ACW (Mary Dymond, Mary – Anne Armstrong, Ann Bright) continues to look at options for changes to the Cormack Hall Kitchen. They are reviewing new estimates and ideas. There is hope that a decision can be made soon and the work started. Following the renovations to the kitchen, it is planned to clean, resurface and polish the floor.

Firewood: Peter Leigh and a group of the men have kept busy chopping, splitting and stacking wood. If you need a full pick-up load for $100.00 delivered, contact Peter at 403-281–1376 or pjleigh[at]shaw[dot]ca.

Extras
Things we've learned during COVID-19: Get dressed every day. Go for a walk each day, even a short walk in the rain. Remember that "if thunder roars, go indoors".  Phone at least one friend each day. Use the church directory to phone a new friend each day. Take up a hobby. Learn a new language. Learn a new instrument. Redecorate a room by shopping at your house.
