Let's talk God!

Interested in an impromptu conversation about God? Stop by our front lawn on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays this fall, between 3 and 4 PM, for a friendly chat with our Student Assistant, Liam Getty.

Just as the high school across the street lets out, Liam sets up a table bearing a huge homemade "Let's Talk God" sign across 75th Avenue from one of the school entrances, sits down in a chair and waits. He smiles and waves at people who make eye contact, and prays they'll come over for a conversation. And in the past three weeks, more than 50 of them have done so! Many of the interactions are brief, but some are significant. He also keeps a bowl of apples on the table, and offers one to people who stop by – feeding the body as well as the spirit.

Way to scatter seeds for the Kingdom, Liam!
