On Thursday, July 2, St Peter's Disciple Depot Youth went on their very first special outing! As both a reward for faithfully attending classes after the service this year and as a community building event, I took our youth to LaserCity in south Calgary for an afternoon. When we first arrived, nobody else was there so we had the arena to ourselves for the first game. However, as it was a public arena, it filled up quickly thereafter. Once we were done I decided the best way to conclude our outing was with ice cream from Dairy Queen. I hope to take our youth to do other fun activities in the future. - Liam Getty, Student Assistant
