Our financial picture took a strong turn for the better this summer, as a large lump-sum offering came in that put our tithes, offerings and donations ahead of our budget! (Giving overall is up almost 17% over the first eight months of 2024, so we're clearly moving in the right direction as a parish.) Meanwhile, we continue to be as frugal as we can be, and our expenses sit well below our budget – meaning we entered September about $20,000 ahead of the budget we passed at our annual meeting in February. We thank God for this significant progress, and we thank you for your faithfulness!

However, we continue to spend more money than we take in, and some big-ticket expenses are likely to come our way this fall, so it's critical that this positive momentum continue over the weeks and months ahead. So we encourage all parishioners to engage deeply with this year's Tell Out My Soul stewardship campaign, to discern how God is calling each of us to use the time, talents and treasures he has entrusted to our care in the year ahead.
