Thank you to the many volunteers who helped to make this past weekend’s Rummage Sale a success. To our honorary ACW members – Arnold Williams, Hal Anderson, Peter Leigh and Martin Cull – thank you for all your hard work and heavy lifting. The men were tasked with setting up tables, dismantling them, lugging those tables and boxes around and then delivering the unsold items to thrift stores in town. We could not have done this sale without their help.

A big thank you to Joan Dunn who makes us a delicious lunch with soup, sandwiches, buns, fruit – all from her own pocket. We also appreciate Delores Cunnington who donates not only a lovely lunch but also a lot of her time helping to sort and working at the sale. Donna Dunn and Lillian Ahwee also help with the lunches.

To the tireless workers who empty bag after bag and sort, re-sort and helped sell the many items a very big thank you. Those helpers were: Joan Variyan, Marie Woolsey, Barb Lamoreux, Marilyn Shaw, Eileen Williams, Joan Siddall, Cindy Richardson, Pearl Murphy, Pam Milne, Cheryl Herle, Patricia Bryan, Mary Ann Armstrong, Betty Nadurak, Margaret Cull, Valerie Knobbe, Wendy, Mary Dymond and Andrea Blair. And to Bill Remmer – our cashier who keeps track of every dollar of the over $2000 we were able to make.

The items that were not sold we were able to donate to St. Edmunds Food Bank’s upcoming garage sale. The men’s clothing went to The Mustard Seed, and the rest of the items were relocated to thrift stores. We appreciate everyone who took the time to sort through your items at home and drop them by the church.  Without your time and energy, we could not have had this successful sale.
