We have 2 Piecemakers groups that meet once a month at St. Peter's - one in the morning & one in the evening. Piecemakers is a Quilt Guild that was established over 35 yrs. ago. Our main focus is charity work, Years ago we made baby quilts for the Tsuut'ina Nation. We have been supporting the Fostering Program at Hull Homes for 30 yrs +. Each child that enters the program receives a bed size quilt & a pair of slippers knitted by one of our members. e also support the Calgary Police Service by making small quilts which the police take on " domestic violence" calls. We have been very fortunate to meet at St. Peter's. It seems appropriate that we meet in a church - a community of faith.
