While case numbers continue to grow due to the spread of the Omicron variant, hospitalizations, including ICU admissions, remain stable and no diocese wide closures are in effect at this point. This could change at any time. Parishes providing in-person services should be as thorough as possible in following current guidance. Parish corporations are able to make the call to increase restrictions (i.e.,forbidding congregational singing) or to suspend in-person worship, should the local situation require it. The COVID-19 Task Force will continue to monitor the data and will advise. All parishes should be prepared to return to online services at short notice.
