If you've signed up to play mini-golf on Saturday, September 12, keep an eye on your email that morning, as the outing might be canceled. With a forecast high of 11 or 12 C and the potential for wind, it might be a little nippy for outdoor activities at 11 AM. "We will make the decision that morning, whether to be brave and go, or to cancel for another time," says Marilyn Shaw, First Friday Social Ministry organizer.
The outing is planned for 11 AM, at the Oasis Greens Golf Centre in DeWinton (about 25 minutes south on Macleod Trail), and duffers are asked to bring a lunch so we can socialize after the game. The cost is $16 for adults, $12 for seniors and there's a group rate of $13, if we have 20+ people.
